#Teaspiration Thursday | Slow, but steady like flowers blooming…

Steadiness comes from character and commitment.

—Egypt & Frank singing …out with the old …

Character comes from personality which flows from mind—and your mind can either be an accurate or inaccurate representation of your soul and its magnificent purpose…yes, yes I know, that poor dead horse. Your soul is saying remember you are to be an altruistic reflection of health so put down that extra cherry tart and that toxic soda pop—but your personality says “OMG, but just a little bit more won’t hurt.” The truth is a little bit more will hurt. What? Why? How? …because you’ve probably said to yourself many times before “I’m going to stop purchasing things I do not need”…and you still go out each weekend for that new outfit. Subconsciously, you are saying to your soul its purpose, your purpose does not matter as much as the minuscule wants of your ever indecisive mind—personality, character.

Commitment begins within your mind. When your mind is dancing or is wholeheartedly attempting to dance in sync or coherence with your soul—commiting to an act with purpose becomes less strenuous and less complicated. Once you make the conscious-minded decision to put down the extra tart or to put back that unnecessary pair of shoes you reward your soul immensely. Your mind and your soul for at least that moment are pulled into alignment. You have declared and proclaimed that you acknowledge and reverence purpose and your path to purpose is fixed and stable.

The more your character and your commitment begin to reflect your soul’s purpose the steadier your walk, your journey will become.

Against a liquid fence

I Saw God . . . then I heard S’He speak.

Call me crazy, but my day was amazing . . . Selah.

A voice in nature - Nappy Nahdee

I have never in my life been so, so something. After work today I left the office, and I did the usual: wait on my brother and his partner to finish up work in the backwoods. So I sat up against a wood fence and took in the scenery. It was magnificent, divine. As I’m writing this know that I’m beyond overwhelmed with emotion at this point… Still standing here, barefoot, stuck, and trying to make sense of all that just happened to me, trying to relay to you all that God just gave me. #Teaspiration Thursday - God chillin'

#Teaspiration Thursday | A God chillin’ Sabbath ;-)

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.—Lao Tzu

Instead of making haste, nature simply follows its intricate design, its pattern –it’s strategic, a cosmically crafted plan. Know seasons will come and seasons will go—but no matter how wonky or lovely the weather outside is those divine tulips shall only bloom best and most prideful and plentiful at the dawning of each Spring.

“I KNOW it will work! because of strategic planning. Everything was strategic.”

LoveTrip to Sappony | Farewells, Best Wishes & Time Out with the Tribe

Let the adventure begin! ♥ LoveTrip from Sappony to the Big D ♥This weekend was lovely; to say the least. Frank & I stole the opportunity to travel down to my homeland for my BruhBruh and Sissy’s farewell family dinner party, to see my la Madre on her birthday, and to kick it with some of my cousins for a spell. In hindsight, we had a very relaxing weekend without the fuss of editing, reporting, recruiting and endless email threads. I must admit I was super excited to get away from the constant hustle and bustle of the ever-woke DMV for a breath of fresh air. *ssssh* don’t tell Frank. However, I’m sure he will admit rolling into the sleepy South with the sunroof up, windows down and the fresh breezes blowing in off the montage of trees brought some much-needed life back to our zombie-like bodies. Egypt ponders over Humanity’s selfishness…

#Teaspiration Thursday | Bringing down Jericho

“Act selfless, you will be infinite.”
—Egypt ponders over Humanity’s selfishness…

I had no reason to live. At least not until I began focusing my life and professional goals around the needs of the world around me; the world of both—my immediate space and humanity’s at large.

That is the great grand secret to a fulfilled life: You will never truly feel alive until you are unapologetically putting forth the efforts to complete the task, works, deeds, missions and degrees your soul came back to Earth to get accomplished.
