PATIENCE IS NATURAL | #TEASPIRATIONTHURSDAY

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.

—Ralph Waldo Emerson

Patience Quote Ralph Waldo Emerson: Adopt the pace of nature

Over the course of many seasons, I have learned to dance the ballet of patience. When Spring begins her rise above the horizon we begin to sow our good seeds. Mother nature’s seeds that dropped in Autumn and lay dormant though Winter take up root. When Summer ascends all Spring sowings and roots bud and ripen, and we start harvesting. Then comes Summer’s Eve, and we take to sowing and planting that which will be harvested as the leaves commence to falling. Autumn’s beginnings mark its ending as we harvest what is good and start preparing for the time of resting, reflecting, and preparing. We welcome Winter with the Winter Solstice — the dying of the Sun on the Southern Cross or Crux constellation. Know, even our Sun has patience as it rests at its lowest point for three days before beginning its rise on what we call Christmas Day. Our days begin to lengthen once more foreshadowing Spring’s return. We lay in patience and in wait just as those seeds which fell in Autumn.

Welcome to Spring! May your harvest this year be abundant!

SAND | #TEASPIRATIONTHURSDAY

Time is like a handful of sand, the tighter you grasp it, the faster it runs through your fingers.

— Henry David Thoreau

Sand - Teaspiration Thursday -Time Sand Quote - Henry David Thoreau

We try to hold on to ourselves as is— but like sand —our days, our time and eventually who we could be fall from our hands. The latter is quite possibly the greatest tragedy of human existence.

You are meant to be weathered like the sands upon a beach, those of a smoldering dessert or even that which treks along a river bed. Each storm that shifts you, and each water that smooths you produces an even better, more refined version of you. If you observe sand being blown about in a hurricane or sand storm you will notice, no two grains are blown the same. Each granule must weather its own rising and falling. Be like sand.

Each grain is a beach within itself. Each grain of sand holds a reflection of a well-weathered beach. Within its crystallization is a story — one which only that particular grain of sand can tell. Yes, it shares a similar tale with all of the other grains of sand along the beach, but its journey is always its own.

Be like sand.

Go count each grain of the sands of time and know that is how much I love you.

2018 Manifest

2018 the Year of Manifest

Each year we each embark on is always a year or something…either you fill in the blank, or you don’t, eh. Truth is often we do not fill in the blank, and we end our year with little to show because we neglected to establish a clear vision of all that we desired to see come to fruition. How much we neglected our past year will reveal its no or low hanging fruit come the dawn of the new year—our current year. Let this be the year you move and maneuver in such a way that you blink once and 2019 slows down to roll out a red carpet embroidered in golds and lined with silvers for You.

All that you do and neglect to do will matter, yet, not all that is done will transmute to matter, and still, nothing is ever truly wasted.

Yours in Love Truly Always Continue reading “2018 Manifest”

Not Every Man Finds Religion, but All Possess Ancestors

Be gentle with yourself. No need to lay self-blame
—Deer

Whenever in doubt—call on your ancestors: they will respond. This is the highest love I know. I have been struggling with my soul searching, my choices made, and in many ways the path I should tread next. Thus, upon my normal late rising I paused to read a quick scripture on “the expression of love” from Frank’s good book, got dressed for work, and headed out the door only to have to step back in the threshold to bless our home, give thanks to and bid love from our ancestors. Heart no less exhausted— I hopped in the car and proceeded toward work. Continue reading “Not Every Man Finds Religion, but All Possess Ancestors”

#Teaspiration Thursday | But you are beautiful, like the sand.

If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere— Vincent Van Gogh

Egypt missing the city birds on a rainy day.

Take in your hand the tiniest grain of sand, and if you stare purposefully enough you will see your reflection within its delicate crystal. Know—this simple grain has likely weathered more storms than you will ever in your current lifetime. Realize—like this crystal you are a complete reflection of all that is and ever was this Universe which spirals around us. So even in the midst of your darkest hell, the lowliest back alley, or even the most treacherous of snowcapped peaks, you will find love—when you gaze upon this great tapestry with purpose.

I love you!
